About Mo

Mo spent more than five years at McKinsey, where he performed in the top 5-10% of his cohort. As an interviewer and resume reviewer, he reviewed over 1,000 applications and conducted more than 100 interviews.

He started in chemical engineering, without a business degree or a built-in consulting network. That experience shaped Cut to the Case: candidates need a clear explanation of how interviewers assess them, a structured way to practice, and feedback they can use.

Mo holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School. His writing covers case interviews, consulting assessments, resumes, and the recruiting decisions candidates rarely see from the other side of the table.
